Robert Collier once said, “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” At The Robbins Recovery House, we agree with this, and we believe that life skills courses are essential for women in recovery because they provide practical tools, knowledge and resources to navigate the challenges of everyday life without turning to substances.
Our experience in addiction recovery has shown us that individuals face significant challenges upon completing treatment, particularly in transitioning back to independent living. Many of our residents lack essential life skills such as financial literacy, job readiness, healthy communication, and conflict resolution. Without these skills, they are at a higher risk of relapse and struggle to maintain stable, fulfilling lives post-recovery.
